Areas of Focus

Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are — it’s about understanding what’s shaped you, and deciding what comes next.

Anxiety

Persistent worry, rumination, and physiological stress can narrow your life. I work with clients to understand anxiety’s patterns, reduce its grip on daily functioning, and build practical strategies for regulation and flexibility—without minimizing its protective role.

Trauma & Stress Responses

Trauma is not defined by the event, but by how the nervous system learned to survive.
Treatment focuses on safety, pacing, and integration—helping you make sense of responses shaped by past experiences while restoring choice and agency in the present.

Identity & Self-understanding

Periods of transition can raise questions about who you are and how you want to live.
I support clients in clarifying values, examining long-standing narratives, and developing a more coherent and compassionate understanding of self.

about me

Therapy rooted in evidence, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience.

Evidence-Based Care

My work is grounded in research-supported approaches, while remaining flexible to the needs and pace of each individual.

Collaborative Approach

Therapy is a shared process. I work alongside clients to make sense of patterns, experiences, and goals—without judgment or pressure.

Thoughtful, Individualized Work

I prioritize understanding who you are within your broader context, rather than applying one-size-fits-all solutions.

Hello, my name is Rebekah. I’m a licensed psychologist providing telehealth (and limited in-person sessions) to adults in Michigan. I approach my work with curiosity, care, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based practice while remaining flexible and responsive to the individual sitting across from me.

I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative and intentional. Rather than focusing on fixing or pathologizing, I aim to help clients better understand themselves—how their experiences, patterns, and environments have shaped them—and to move forward in ways that align with their values and sense of meaning.

I enjoy working with people who are ready to reflect honestly on their lives and relationships. Much of my work includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, and recurring patterns that leave life feeling stalled or misaligned. Often, therapy becomes a space to slow down, notice what isn’t working, and explore new ways of responding—with greater clarity and self-trust.

My style is warm, thoughtful, and insight-oriented. I prioritize creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and encouraged to engage deeply with their own growth. Together, we work toward changes that feel sustainable, authentic, and grounded in what matters most to you.

Services

I offer individual therapy grounded in evidence-based practice and shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and respect for each person’s lived experience. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of patterns that no longer feel helpful, and move forward in ways that align with your values and goals.

Individual Therapy

I work with adults navigating a range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • ADHD and related challenges with focus, motivation, and self-trust
  • Relationship concerns, including communication patterns, boundaries, and infidelity
  • Identity exploration and life transitions
  • Feeling stuck, misaligned, or unsure why life isn’t unfolding the way you hoped

Rather than focusing on fixing or pathologizing, therapy centers on understanding how your experiences, relationships, and environments have shaped you — and how you want to respond moving forward.

My Approach

My work is collaborative and intentional. Together, we look at patterns with curiosity, build insight at a pace that feels manageable, and develop practical strategies that support regulation, flexibility, and choice. Therapy is not about becoming someone new, but about reconnecting with what matters most and creating change that feels sustainable and authentic.
